Since November, in a Nutshell!

Hey everyone!

So this is the first time I have posted on our blog!  I finally figured out how to write on here, haha.  So a lot has happened since November.  With my family, my sister Brittany & her husband Dallin had their baby, Shazer, last month, which is so fun!  He is such a cute little boy! I wish we could have been there but we will see the little baby soon enough!  Then this month, Jennie, my sister who lives in the Philippines, is coming to California!  I am so excited!  This is the first time that everyone will get to see her daughter, Cordelia.  I was so lucky to be able to go out there this last summer, so I got to see her at her as a newborn.  That was so much fun!

Anyway, so this month on the 16th, Derrick and I are taking a trip to Califonia to see everyone and have a total blast!  This will be the first time my family will be together in years.  The only thing that stinks is that Marlon (Jennie's husband) will not be able to come, due to lame-o immigration.  We are praying that all will work out for him.  I am so so so so excited to see everyone and so excited that Derrick will get to meet Jennie :)

Everything is going great with me and Derrick!  We have been so fortunate to have so much of our families come up here to visit us for before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, before Christmas, and after New Years!  We have been so blessed!  While Kim and Mike and the boys were up here, Derrick, me, and Brendan woke up early one morning to go to Petsmart.  While there me and Derrick spotted a cat.  And let me just tell you, before this, we were SO against cats.  We really did not want one, haha.  But when we passed by this cage, we both looked at eachother and decided to get it.  His name is Patches and he is the most well behaved cat ever!  He responds to his name, is super clean, and always greets us when we come home.  He really is a good cat!







Our Christmas was really fun, we spent the day here at our house and just enjoyed spending time with eachother.  We even bought a real tree and set it up!  Woohoo!  With all our Dollar Store & Disney Store & homemade childhood decorations our tree was bomb diggity!  Man, we had a great Christmas together!

I love my job at the Disney Store!  Like really, I could not have asked for something better!  I am always surrounded by the coolest people, the funnest product, and Disney music!  It is super super fun!  I'm now a team lead there, which is really awesome.  I love my job!  Derrick works at Zions Bank and he is only like 5 minutes away, walking. haha.  He enjoys that too, and he enjoys getting extra responsibility and he is so good at it!  He gets to know all the clients really well and I just know that they all like him!

I just have to say what a great husband Derrick is.  He is really the best man I could have possibly asked for.  I am really really lucky!  He treats me so good and acts like a dork, which is what I like!  We love to just lay in bed and play some Nancy Drew! haha.

Some fun things are happening for me and Derrick right now and we are just so so grateful!  We will see if all goes well and if they do, you will be hearing about them!  Thanks for listening in!  Have a great day!

Compatible with our music?????

I can' even begin to explain how happy I am that Tiff enjoys my favorite kind of music. And with that I mean my "obsession" with Angels & Airwaves! It is so fun that she gets excited with me when we found out their new CD was coming out early. It's awesome to go to move her car from the driveway and it's playing on her stereo. And it's awesome to go do some family grocery shopping and rocking out to the music like we are a couple of high school kids! I will continue to say it, I am the luckiest man on earth!!!

The married life!

So Tiff and I have been married for about two and a half weeks now and man has it been so much fun! The sealing, ring ceremony, and reception went better then I ever could have hoped! We went on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas for our honeymoon and that was five days of fun with a lot of eating, lounging, and driving mini jeeps and jet skis!!!

Then came the best part........coming back to Utah to OUR home! I love living at this house! Thank you Sister Beal, you are the biggest blessing that we could have ever wished for. It is so much fun being married to my sweetheart! Just knowing that I get to come home to Tiff is the best feeling and it makes me so anxious for the work day to end! We also have Bronco and Corndog here with us....haha! Dogs can bring you so much happiness, and these two do the best job ever! Life is great, I love my wife so much! Thanks for loving me back Tiffy!

Officially One Week Away!!!

So one week from today, well its technically Saturday, Tiff and I are getting married!

And to assure me even more than I already am that Tiff is the most amazing girl ever, I have a little cute story for you. I had to get some homework done at my school's library tonight and was in the middle of my assignment when my computer froze....nothing saved.....everything gone. I was stressed, saddened, and even a little misty eyed. I called Tiffers to vent a little bit and not only did she lift my spirits, she said she would meet me at school and bring me food! So as I was redoing my assignment Tiff and her sister Savannah came into the library with McMonopoly! I haven't won anything yet, and I kinda wanna give up...... permanently......on McDonald's. But the point is that Tiff came and comforted me, and sat there with me while I finished!

Thanks love! You are awesome! I love you and can't wait for the 15th!!!

The best day of work ever!

The moral of this story is Tiffers is the best girl in the entire world!!!

So to begin...those of your who know me, know that I love to play tricks and games with my friends. Well, a co-worker of mine who I also consider a friend got a new game called, "if you can find it, you can eat it", played on him today. He brought a delicious cup-o-noodles for lunch, and me being the sneaky sneaky person that I am found a way to take it from right under his nose and hide it in our break-room. He eventually found it and enjoyed the delectable taste that only a microwaved Styrofoam cup-o-noodles can bring.

I know, you are asking how in the world does this relate to Tiff being the best? Just be patient with me, I'm getting there. Tiffany came to my work and we were going to go out for lunch, which side note, it's Monopoly time again!!! If you don't get that I am sad for you... Anyways, Tiff sat at my desk and asked what I was going to do for the rest of the day. I started rattling off the things I may do. Such as skydive, feed a lion, or win $100,000 from Mickey D's! (OK, I helped you all out if you were struggling about the Monopoly part. Go buy a large fry and you will understand what I'm talking about!) As I am describing my awesome afternoon possibilities I suddenly go silent! Literally like 15 seconds go by before I utter a word. It hit me, the new blink-182 CD came out today! I had to have it! It needed to be listened to right then! Alas I was stricken with the plague of work for 4 more hours!

I tell Tiff, "THE BLINK CD CAME OUT TODAY!!!". And she responds with, "lets play a game".... The game was, "if you find it, you can listen to it"! Tiffany and my co-worker were in cahoots! How could she know!?! I started freaking out! Could it be true? The blink CD was hidden somewhere in at my work and I had to find it! I immediately started my torrid search into locked rooms and filing cabinets. Then I saw the only spot for it, the coffee station! After a glance in a plant (it wasn't there), I opened the doors to the station and there it was!!! My blink-182 CD was sitting there waiting for me! I held it up above my head in triumph as I strutted through my work.

Tiff and I then got in my car, and listened to the CD while we drove to play Monopoly! It was awesome! The best day of work ever! Thank you so much baby, I love you!!!

Well, I have no idea who would want to read anything that I say.....however, you may want to read what my beautiful, soon to be wife has to say! Tiffany and I are going to be posting some neat things about our awesome life so that you all can share in our fun.
